In 2007 Otley Jewellers began a project to increase the amount of fine jewellery it sourced ethically.
In 2012 we proudly changed our name to The Ethical Jeweller and are now able to offer a large range of ethically sourced pieces from designers such as Fifi Bijoux, Oria, CRED, Jersey Pearl and Citizen Eco-Drive along side our own range of ethical jewellery and chains at
surprisingly competitive prices.
Being one of the very few jewellers to hold a Fairtrade & Fairmined Licence we are able to offer bespoke designs and commissions as well as our own wedding and engagement rings in Certified Fairtrade & Fairmind Ecological gold and platinum as well as recycled precious metals.
Of course purchasing one of our pre-owned or antique pieces reduces the need for new gold as it is one of the purest forms of recycling and offers excellent value while also preserving a small part of history.
We also offer jewellery repair, restoration and remodelling; watch repairs and servicing as well as valuations for insurance and probate.
We buy unwanted and broken gold, platinum and silver jewellery; coins and objects of virtue for immediate payment or part exchange.
